"Mr. Ted, Well, we made it back safe to Georgia. Sat night and Sun morning seemed so long since we flew out so late but at least we were able to be home before lunch on Sunday which was very nice. We would like to thank you again for a great time at your cabin. It seemed like "home" to us which was very nice. Maybe one day we can visit Co. again. In addition to the hike in the Park and Trail Ridge Road, we stayed on the back deck and saw shooting stars, played games and used that swing on the front porch a lot. I am really glad we found out about your cabin as it has helped make a very memorable, lasting time for our family. Thanks! P.S. I had a chance to talk to your neighbor a couple of times. He said Ted’s Dad Loren made the lodge pole furniture and his Mom Ruby finished it. Please tell them it is really neat!..”

“Dear Mr. And Mrs. Hollman, I love your cabin! The loft is SO cool! I liked how you had lots of glow-in-the-dark stars on the ceiling, just like in my own room. We played a ton of the board games you had up there and had a lot of fun. Your family room is welcoming. I played your piano like everyday. My favorite chair is the pop-a-son chair. The heating light in the bathroom is very nice when you are cold from getting out of the shower, I used it many times. I love the swing on the front porch, it really made me relaxed. As I am writing this I’m sitting on the green glider on the back deck, I love it. Many mornings I sat with a member of my family here. You know that feeling you get when you leave somewhere you love and have a piece of your heart there, that’s how I feel right now. I love Ruby’s Retreat so much! I never thought I would miss a vacation spot this much but I truly think it’s a great place to be and I hope we return soon! Your cabin is awesome. I don’t know how you can leave it, it’s so relaxing, quiet and comforting! Thank you sooo much for sharing your very pretty cabin with me and my family! Thanks again!..”
